ietf-nntp Is there going to be an NNTP standard?

I have been trying to avoid specifying headers for articles in this document
and attempting to leave that to RFC 1036 to define what a "distribution
portion of an article's header" is. I know I have had to define some, but
I really don't want to define very many. Am I correct in guessing that RFC1036
is no help to you in clarifying this?
