The size limit is a page - specifically, a page in 10 point Courier New, indented three spaces per paragraph, no extra lines between paragraphs. Your story, when formatted this way, is... slightly over three pages. `-`; You could split it up - the first two sections together are almost exactly a page, and have a nice cliffhanger, and the latter part could probably be edited down to a page. Alternatively, you could have Kid Makes-One-Page-Stories-Too-Long show up.
