I agree. I wouldn't call it creepy, personally; it's just the sad,
inevitable road traveled by many a relationship. When someone's been
such a major part of your life, they become a point of reference --
their stories become your stories -- and you can't just cut them out
cleanly.

For those of you wondering, Tom and I came up with our series
independently, although we did talk about it briefly before putting
out Weird Romance and Doomed Romance in the same month. :)
