That sounds like any given episode of CSI: Miami. :)

Actually, a running CSI gag nowadays is to stretch the teaser out for
a few minutes.  The viewer _knows_ there is going to be a body found
so you'll have people run into sleeping homeless people or discarded
department store manikins before they find the body.  On the other
hand, they also sometimes have two parter episodes in which they find
a second body at the end of the first episode and the second episode
just starts with a recap. :)
