A new version NetHack-De, code named "black dragon warts remover" has
been uploaded SourceForge.

The source code and binary packages for Windows and Debian Linux can
be downloaded from here:
https://sourceforge.net/projects/nethack-de/files/nethack-de/

This version has 93% of in-game text translated. There are about 500
lines of left to be translated. A detailed overview is available on
http://nethack-de.sourceforge.net/status.html.

Two screenshots of the running game, one on a Linux Terminal and the
other running the Windows GUI:

Starting with this release there's a change in release management.
I've been doing continuous build of NetHack-De for quite a while now
and extending this to automatically building and uploading release
packages to SourceForge was quite easy.

So now shortly after a change gets committed to the source code
repository, new packages will be available on SourceForge. Of course
"proper" releases with announcements will still happen from time to
time.

The most significant changes of this release are:

  * Translated ~93% of the in-game text
      - all monster names have been translated
      - renamed: Schwarze Gruetze -> Blutschwarze Gruetze
      - improved tombstone labels
      - hallucination monsters have been translated
      - intro text has been translated

  * additional hallucination monsters and hallucination colors
  * removed patch for random Sokoban prize
  * Debian package
  * DESTDIR support in Makefile

  * new patches:
      - travel improved-Patch 1.2
      - improved statuscolors patch (from UnNetHack)
      - alt as meta for extended commands (by Plagman)

  * bug fixes:
      - Crash with too long player character monster names
      - Crash in german_test on 64 bit computers
      - flawed parsing of record file
      - general small fixes

Bye
Patric
