HyperRogue III

HyperRogue III is a small roguelike about a lone adventurer in a
non-Euclidean world, filled with dangerous monsters, rare
treasures, and magical orbs. You have to hunt treasures
while being hunted by the monsters, and hit these monsters
before they hit you.

Hyperbolic geometry brings a new structure of the map, composed
of hexagons and heptagons (most roguelikes allow 8-directional
movement, like Rogue, recently there are many new roguelikes which
explore changing this geometrical structure: some games use four
directional movement, and there are also some based on a hex grid;
HyperRogue tries something different), and a perspective with
objects drawn smaller and smaller as the distance from the PC
increases when the PC moves, the perspective rotates to catch them.

The original Hyperbolic Rogue was an out of challenge 7DRL (in fact
a 6DRL, even less). Just a @ moving on a map. It was improved to
HyperRogue II for 7DRLC 2012, and it has further improvements now
(graphics, new lands to explore, embark on the quest for the Orb
of Yendor).
