Once again I find myself deeply admiring the precision of your prose, how each word is just the right word at just the right time, conveying and hinting at so much. It's always such a pleasure to read. I wouldn't call it "breezy" - that feels too insubstantial, doesn't begin to describe the emotional heft and weight of the thing - but it's never a chore or a slog, just one perfect sentence, one perfect phrase, one perfect image after another.
