January Frost walked briskly down the hallway, a manila folder tucked under her
arm. She spied Kid Enthusiastic coming down in the opposite direction, arms
full of machined robot parts.

"Hello, James," she said, giving him a friendly wave.

"Hi, Mom," he replied.

They both stopped in their tracks, frozen, staring off into the distance, then
looked into each other's eyes.

"...this never happened," said January.

"Yeah cool," said Kid E.

They headed off on their errands, quickly walking away from one another.
