Y'know, there are some real groaners here and decisions I regret and things I would've handled very differently, but this one isn't too bad!

My memory might be a little shaky, but I think the "debate" in Martin's story originated from a dispute we had, where I pointed out the shortened form of "Democratic", "Democrat", was at least at the time frequently used with the final syllable emphasized as an insult.
