She is really rad and really fun to write.

We'll find out (much) later on in the series. For the time being though I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of #8, where Claire's motivations become somewhat less inscrutable. For that matter I'm looking forward to what you think of Daylighters, which also peels off another layer of the onion.
