ASH: LL&DD Vignette "Two Fingers"

     Lady Lawful and Doctor Developer worked their way through the alleyway.
She'd asked him to show her some of his old villain hangouts, and the bar
they were approaching was about as close as he'd gotten to "hanging out" with
other villains.  It was more of a convenient place to buy tech or make
connections.  

     "Two Fingers?" Lady Lawful cocked her head.  "That's an odd name for a
bar. Is that because the bartender never serves more than two fingers at a
time?"

     "Ah, no," Doctor Developer mumbled.  "No, it's a reminder why Switchflip
opened the bar."

     "Switchflip.  Switchflip?  Why is that name familiar?"

     "You were the last hero he ever fought."

     "Right!  I remember him.  The archer with a yellow and purple costume.
Kind of an idiot, as I remember.  His goons grabbed me once...I think there
was an Anchor near by, because my belt fritzed out.  He was trying to stuff
something in my mouth when the belt just started working again and I...bit...
his...."  Lady Lawful trailed off and her expression shifted from reminscence
to mild shock and disgust.

     "Two fingers.  You didn't exactly bite them off, but they definitely
weren't any good for shooting arrows after that."

     "In my defense, he was a bad guy."

     "He got a pretty unique name out of it.  I'd say you did him a favor."
