I find this a very sensible and practical way to approach Government 
knowledge of a superhero's secret identity.

Before I start commenting on geography...  In any universe with gods in 
it, Bermuda *could* become an island chain!  Have I perhaps missed a 
story where that happened, or should I just assume an island in the 
Bahamas?  8{D>
