8FOLD/HCC: Journey Into # 24, "The Vampire Sun"

I haven't been following this line, but I might have to go back and check it out 
now.  This was delightful to read!  The shifts in tone between Julie's sections 
and the Kyklokos sections, the not-overbearing references, the feeling of scale 
and intrigue and wheels-within-wheels type stuff; I found it all quite enjoyable.

Also, your parentheticals here make me smile, for comedic value as much as twisty 
between-the-lines politics.
