SW10/REVIEW: Catalog of Earths, 2016 Update #4 of 5: Legacy Universes

UNIVERSE:  Godling

- Type:  Superhuman

- Chronicler(s):  Jochem Vandersteen

- Chronicler's Web Site:  apparently not

- Activity:  Every few months

- Relevance:  Minor; could interact with the Council, but not likely

- Threat Analysis:  Standard superhuman, as for every year.

- Critique:  Standard superhuman.  Standard menaces; the former hero has 
returned, with some guest stars.  But it does raise some issues about 
some superhero dragging super-criminals off to his private prison.

- Psychovant's Comments:  Well, at least *something's* happening.

UNIVERSE:  Eightfold (Jolt City / Journey Into / Mighty Medley)

- Type:  Superhuman

- Chroniclers:  Tom and Mary Russell plus numerous guest writers

- Chronicler's Web Site:  apparently none

- Activity:  Roughly monthly

- Relevance:  Major; could easily interact with the Council

- Threat Analysis:  Incredible.  The universe contains many 
multiverse-spanning heroes and heroines, plus threats which could spill 
over with them.

- Recommendation:  Monitor.  This continuum is absorbed upon itself, and 
not a threat to other Earths at present.

- Critique:  The main event for this year was, the end of the Darkhorse 
series.  That had repercussions, of the sort which any reader should 
note.  Meanwhile, the Mighty Medley series continued.  It built on 
Darkhorse, and added additional threads.  This universe is active, and 
should be monitored by anyone who likes stories.

- Psychovant's Comments:  Don't tempt me for any team-ups... though I 
bet they'd bounce me right out of that universe.

UNIVERSE:  Academy of Super-Heroes

- Type:  Superhuman

- Chronicler(s):  Dave van Domelen

- Chronicler's Web Site:  http://www.eyrie.org/~dvandom/ASH/

- Activity:  inactive

- Relevance:  Minor; could interact with the Council, but not likely

- Threat Analysis:  Standard superhuman, mostly in eras removed from us. 
  Unchanged from last year.

UNIVERSE: Super Wizard From Space

- Type:  Superhuman

- Chronicler:  Wil Alambre

- Chronicler's Web Site:  http://wil.alambre.ca/racc/

- Activity:  occasional (currently every one or two months)

- Relevance:  Major.  Has *already* interacted with the Council, and 
continues to affect its worlds.

- Threat Analysis:  Major.  The cosmic powers of this universe are in 
final confrontation, and military supporters have mobilized in support.

- Recommendation:  Omniversal quarantine, for such elements as have not 
already escaped.

- Critique:  This storyline is awe-inspiring.  For instance, it reveals 
how *big* one of the powers is.  And the story is proceeding again. 
That's all we can really ask from it.

- Psychovant's Comments:  Crap!  I guessed, the game of "Swallow the 
Cosmic Crown and then the Super Wizard" would've gone differently.  But 
the story's going into extra innings.
