One might easily remind me of the difference between Wyatt Ferguson's 
diary of 2005 (http://www.eilertech.com/stories/2005/me2005.htm), and 
the Powernaut's publications of those same adventures during that period 
(http://www.eilertech.com/stories/powernaut/2005.htm).  That's the kind 
of thing that made me think of... well, Fractal Time is *not* to blame 
for this concept, it's merely feeding off it.  Alternate Pasts are the 
web through which Fractal Time may roam.  Cosmologically, Alternate 
Pasts are as sensible as Alternate Futures.

Eris is of course reused, but Rosewood *is* an interesting name for a 
goddess.
