Author's Notes:   Tonight, summer has come early to Seattle.  To me it's 
kind of like seeing that abusive Significant Other come back in your 
life, and watching everyone in your neighborhood open their doors to it 
because they remember some good times with it from last year.  So 
tonight I'm staying home in my nice cool apartment, and publishing a 
story where people try to *cage* the sun for the good of every species 
everywhere.  So there.
