This story makes me think of the Lizard King.  The one from "Wild 
Cards", that is.  One of the writers of a superhuman universe anthology 
basically gave Jim Morrison superpowers.  This new Godling could be 
really interesting, especially if he acts like Jim Morrison blessed by 
the gods.

Now's your chance to make Godling not act quite like a superhero.  Or if 
he does, delve into why he would want to.
