Well, I'm obviously getting old and forgetful.  I completely forgot 
about the atheist camps, and I wrote the blasted things into continuity.
 
FWIW I agree that the camps wouldn't be round anymore (without going 
back and rechecking 'A Devil Goes Down To Georgia' I think they were 
disbanded, which is how TJ got out by the time that story started.)  
I was thinking about 'mere' deep seated discrimination rather than 
criminalisation, with someone pinning some other crime on TJ because 
they felt he 'still needed to be punished for not Believing' or 
somesuch.
  
However, the giant robot angle is good.  (Hmmm, and there was that 
lovely scene in Adam Warren's _Livewires_ mini for Marvel that is 
exactly the type of thing that Kid Enthusiastic would get up to.)
