Those ten words in quotation marks, which I was first hipped to by my friend Glenn Kenny over at his blog Some Came Running, are your challenge. Seasonal blues, crass commercialism, eldritch abomination, or something else? That's up to you to decide.

Contest ends January 7th, because if there's one thing we've learned about those ancient horrors, there is never enough time in December to get anything done.
