Yeah but I thought LNH HQ was buried underground and therefore nobody
knew it was there.

I personally would want to go with the "LNH HQ moved itself to
Netropolis to be near the heroes" theory.  It could be an interesting
plot point, however.  What if LNH HQ were to move to another city or
another country?  Eventually the LNH is going to have to ask why the
LNH HQ moves around.  The spirit of a long dead ancient LNHer
inhabiting the building would be the least malevolent explanation.

It's something I wondered about but didn't to think to ask: if the
ancient LNH built LNH HQ why would it be built in North America?  And
where did all the modern technology come from?
