As long as I haven't messed things up to much.  Like I said, my
understanding was that people didn't know LNH HQ was in Netropolis
until it appeared.  It would be the equivalent of when they found Troy
in Turkey or Gilgamesh's city in Iraq in our world.  To what extent
were the old stories of the legion true?  If they were the "ancient
legion" then did they predate civilization itself?  Where did they get
all the cool stuff?  Maybe there was some truth to what the troll was
saying: the ancient legion may have gotten a lot of its technology
from worlds it had visited.  If worlds gave them technology willingly
then they weren't threats to mankind and if the legion stole
technology from other worlds then it may be the ancient legion were
not nice people.
