I still have no idea what the story is going to be but I think some
world building should be done first. Let me know what you think of
what I posted to the Author's group. The story with Ripping Dancer
will probably get scrapped because Arthur doesn't approve but then
again perhaps he just disapproves of the strip club setting. That
could be fixed by him and most of the dialogue could be kept. That
would be perfect, actually, because what I wrote wasn't a full story,
maybe not even half a story. (Arthur's issues tend to be a bit long.)

Oh and I still mean what I said earlier: I think people should write
their own things and post it by the end of January and then we'll
should try to put everything together to form a narrative. If some
stuff gets scrapped, so be it, but I think this approach allows people
to write independently and not have to wait until everything is
"settled", which is something that could take a long time.

Seriously, if each of us writes three and a half stories over the next
three months (with mine already written) then it would be easy to have
twenty stories ready by April. In fact, we might want to start
posting as early as March because if the stories are posted over 20
weeks then that's four and a half months worth of posts! Even if we
started posting in the middle of March we wouldn't be finished until
the end of July. (Obviously we can start later if the stories aren't
ready but starting in April means we finish at the end of August.)
