We RACC writers lead rather busy lives, so here's a challenge that
should be easy to fit in alongside all our regular commitments and our
real lives. The "24-minute comic" is a venerable RACC institution--
well mainly it's Jamie Rosen's institution, but a few others wrote
some too. (You can read Jamie's original 24MINUTECOMIC series at
http://archives.eyrie.org/racc/lbp/24MINUTECOMIC/, and I encourage you
to do so.) So now it's time to revive that tradition.

Your goal is to write a story in the space of 24 minutes. It can be
any genre or mood that you want. But it has to begin with "I knew
things were going wrong when..." (This is borrowed from a workshop
exercise that Jamie used for 24MINUTECOMIC #8, probably the best issue
of the series.)

Because of the nature of the challenge, the due date is shorter this
time: January 13, in two weeks.
