The American Congress has passed a law in deference to the junior
senator from Net.ropolis, Haiku Gorilla, stating that all laws and
debate on the senate floor now take the form of haiku.  This results
in an ambiguous definition of torture, which in turn results in the
arrest of all Democrats-- save Haiku Gorilla-- in both houses, for the
"torture" of Hex Luthor, the President.

The Senate is now composed of Haiku Gorilla, independent Joe
Lieberman, and the G.O.P.  Lieberman introduces a bill to repeal the
22nd Ammendment, thus making it possible for Hex Luthor to seek a
third term in office...
