I'm sure that people would be able to take it if you made the
criticism constructive.  Granted, sometimes you just don't like
something but one can usually put into words what one didn't like even
if it was just a reaction to the very first sentence.  ["It was a dark
and stormy night..."  Too cliche.  Didn't read the rest. :)]
