One problem with Martin Phipps's stories--

One thing about Martin's stories is that a lot of them are created
solely to prop up a string of gags.  And there's nothing wrong with
that at all-- it's what makes Martin Martin, and it's what makes me a
fan.  And, to top it off, they're damn good gags-- usually at least
rib-tickling if not knee-slapping orgasms of laughter.

And so, the "problem" is that most of his gag-stories are so perfectly
constructed and executed that there's no way to really review them
without simply listing the gags, which ruins the whole point of the
story and isn't really useful as far as reviews go.

So.

Go and read this story.

It's funny.

That's really all I can say.
