And, not to be nitpicky (Tom puts on his Nitpick Lad Hallowe'en
Costume), but, regarding your subject line, it should be "Martin
Phipps's Eligibles", not Phipps'.  If your last name was Phipp and
there was more than one of you writing, then Phipps' would be fine-- s'
is the rule when you're talking about a plural.  But just because a
last name ends in s doesn't mean that one should ellide the 's.

Sorry.  Just a personal pet peeve of mine.  Something I see over, and
over, and over again.

And so it bugs me.
