META: Your first time...?

I just joined last weekend. I have been writing for about 6 years, but nothing
you've heard of. Over most of those years, I've been looking on-and-off for
critical reviews of my writing style, and any writing tips.

I started the SSG series a couple months back. Since it was comic based (sort
of), I looked to this Group. The Charter and FAQ indicated it would be a good
place for comments to help me improve my writing. I also read a few of the
stories so far (out of the thousands in the Archive), to get a feel for the
Group.
