Back in # 125, we recieved a letter from an anonymous
Miss Lonelyhearts, seeking romantic advice from your
favourite simian and mine, Haiku Gorilla. 
Unfortunately, they did not phrase the question in
proper haiku form, and so H. G. was unable to answer. 
Several guests filled in for him.

Well, Miss Lonelyhearts has sent us another letter,
going into further detail about his/her problems. 
This time, he/she chose to submit their plea in the
form of a villinelle:

An idiotic school boy crush
A secret I've carried so long.
It'd just be weird now.

Over time she became one of my dearest friends
I've known her for one third of my life- it's just
An idiotic school boy crush.

In two or three different RPGs our characters... 
Neither of us has really gone out on a date in two
years but...
It'd just be weird now.

She brought me comics after that surgery.
And that time at the Christmas party I...
An idiotic school boy crush

A mutual friend (one she used to date) is getting
married
She has no one to dance with but
It'd just be weird now.

She's been hurt before... so have I.
The friendship is strong, I'm not sure I can risk it
over
An idiotic school boy crush
It'd just be weird now.


Which still isn't a haiku.  And so we've asked special
guest star Master Blaster to weigh in on this delicate
topic.

M. B. has this to say:

"Stop being a pussy."

Hmm.  We thought there was more to his response than
that, but apparently that's it.  So, there you go,
Lonelyhearts.
