It's too bad that Negative Man's powers weren't clearly defined.  Maybe
Negative Man's powers _were_ to be in a bad mood all the time so, you
villains out there, DON'T PISS HIM OFF!  Oops.  Too late.

You've never flown on an airplane.  I've never read more than one issue
of Doom Patrol.  And that was a Byrne issue with a lot of splash pages.
So I really don't know who the characters were, let alone how their
powers worked.

On the other hand, I think most of us have heard of Area 51.  Just a
piece of advice though: don't expect your readers to be capable of
"complex" mathematics (ie 102/2=51) in order to get a joke.  Seriously,
I've met people who couldn't do baisc subtraction, let alone division.
