When you are allowed to feed & read, you need to issue a MODE READER to 
access reader commands (thus, just like Inn). Feed-only connections are 
managed by a dedicated process (unlike reader-allowed connections). At 
first sight, the differences between both modes are related to a flag 
and allowing a feeder/reader to use reader commands should not be 
difficult (_at_first_sight_).
