Um, I hate to sound sour, but that was one of my points when I proposed
the STATUS command. Yet everyone said this feature was unnecessary.

In particular, I asked Mark:
| So you don't want a "this could be available", only "this is available
| right now"?
and he confirmed that this was his view.

So colour me confused.
