For the record, my semi-strong opinion is purely about having one SASL
"word" rather than several. I don't care about the delimiters between the
words; if it's more convenient to have:

 AUTHINFO USER SASL:DIGEST-MD5;EXTERNAL
 AUTHINFO USER SASL=DIGEST-MD5,EXTERNAL
 AUTHINFO USER SASL=DIGEST-MD5+EXTERNAL

or whatever to take advantage of existing parsing code, that's fine with me.
