Note that my being co-chair has always been a process convenience. I was
originally asked to do this because of my familiarity with IETF process, not
because of any involvement in the netnews space. At the time of my appointment
to the IESG I asked if it would not be best to have someone else do this, but
it never happened. I also considered losing my co-chair hat when Russ replaced
Stan, but I decided to stay in the unlikely event I needed to chair a
F2F meeting Russ could not attend.
