And it is still the same in MESSFOR and USEFOR. In particular,
<unstructured> can contain anything except CR, LF and NUL (including
plausibly constructed UTF-8 characters in USEFOR).

So I think agents (including overview) should just copy such stuff
blindly.

We seem to be agreeing that folding is replaced by a single SP in
overview. That just leaves the case of multiple adjacent whitespace in the
middle of a line. I presume it is agreed that TAB has to change to SP, at
least. So the remaining question is whether to collapse to single SP.
