CONTEST: High Concept #6: Mab Libbed dates

Dvandom has posted the theme of the 6th High Concept Challenge:
  
 "When the Earth becomes infested with hardwired aliens, one Earthling 
  and his/her chocolate respond by swimming." 
  
I'll be adjudicating.  Participants have until Friday 12th February to 
post their stories, 3-and-a-bit weeks from today.  After that there'll 
be a week for voting, which will consist of receiving votes via email 
at my hotmail.com address.
